I have to confess - I signed up to dooyoo to see if I could up my income. My first reviews were not great at all. I didn't really think about what I was writing, I just wanted to see my miles total go up every day.

Then I started to realise that the ratings I was getting were telling me that the reviews weren't great and that I was never going to get a crown, and that realistically, I wasn't earning the miles the way they were intended.

I started reading reviews by others and enjoying the well written, funny and informative ones. Then I started using dooyoo the way it should be used - finding reviews for things I wanted to buy, and writing reviews when I felt inspired.

As a result, I get more ratings now, and at a better level. I'm still hoping for my first crown one day, but I enjoy making my reviews better in the meantime, and thanks to anyone who's given me feedback.

I think the rewards system on dooyoo is great, although I agree with the reviewer who suggested that reviews that you rate as Not Useful shouldn't get miles - that would encourage people to write better reviews.
