Advantages: Great to earn for writing.

Disadvantages: Could be slightly tweaked.

The Dooyoo Rewards System is not too difficult to explain. You get paid in Dooyoomiles for writing & receiving ratings on your reviews.

1,000 Dooyoo Miles are the equivalent to £1.00, you will receive 500 Dooyoo Miles for writing a review over 150 words which is £0.50 you will also receive 15 Dooyoo Miles for each rating you receive which is £0.015.

Whether you are voted Very Useful, Useful, Somewhat Useful or Not Useful you will still receive the 15 Dooyoo Miles. I feel that this should perhaps be reviewed with a tier scale, maybe 20 for Very Useful, 15 for Useful, 10 for Somewhat Useful and 0 for Not Useful as why should you be rewarded if your review is Not Useful to anybody?

I also feel that Dooyoo could perhaps increase the amount of words required to 200 or 250 instead, whilst in the past some of my reviews have been slightly under 200 words or 250 words I feel that increasing this amount would make people put a lot more thought and attention in to their reviews and provide more information.

I don't agree with some members that there should be a limit to the amount of reviews you can post in a day as sometimes I don't post a review for 3 or 4 days but I have several reviews that I have been working on or where I have been waiting for a product suggestion to be added, or perhaps I've had days when I can't get internet access so I have just prepared my reviews in a word document. I don't think people should be penalised because they might upload a few reviews in a day, as long as it's not constant 10+ every single day.

I enjoy being a member of Dooyoo and the Rewards System is very generous compared to other websites, I definitely want things to continue and that's why just a few days after starting to write reviews I realised how important it is to the sites integrity to try and make each review the best I can so that the site earns more money and more credit and thus more readers/rates/writers.

So go on, get out there and try some new products, don't forget to suggest them and review them afterwards.

Summary: I would only change things slightly, it's pretty great as it is!

I quite like you idea of different points for different ratings, I reckon that could work. x

Very interesting although I don't think anyone who writes consistently useful review should be penalised even if they wanted to write 100 a day! After all, Dooyoo is a site which needs to be as full as possible to maximise their traffic so limiting the amount of reviews members can post would be a silly thing for them to do.
