I thought the point of the Olympic Games was to test the athlete’s ability in their sport. What is the point of testing their ability to take drugs? Whilst I do understand that it would be a large task if there is evidence of drugs at the games I think everyone should be tested or at least spot testing should be done to put the worry in the athlete’s to stop drug taking.

Whilst I understand that drugs could be in personal medications surely if the athlete gave any medication details to the board this would then be eliminated. I’m not sure how to solve the problem with drugs being put in drink and food although I can’t believe this happens a lot.

I’ve just heard 9 people from Romania have all been asked to leave the games due to drugs. Now not only are they letting themselves down surely they’re letting their country down as well.

I think drugs should be banned from all sports as it takes the competition out of it.
