I love ear piercings cause they give you such a choice! First things first about the age...I don't think there's any age that you shouldn't be able to get your ears pierced.

I got mine done when I was 10 I think, though some people think its wrong for babies to get there ears done because its the parents choice, but I want my child's done because they'll then have the choice later whether they want them in or not and they most likely will. If they're anything like me they're gunna be scared to get they're ears done so why not have them done when they're younger like 2 or something?

Myself personally don't like piercing on men unless they're like flesh holes because I know so many that are chavs so that's all I think of!

I got my first ear holes done when I was ten by my mums friends who did them professionally. I always remember she kept saying this is only a practise and starting counting but I was sooo scared I kept pulling away! Till finally just as she started saying this is a practise she did it...I of course screamed my head of...and didn't get the other hole done! I had 1 ear done for about 4 years I think and I then pierced the other one myself with a long needle and some ice! After that I loved wearing earrings and always did.

Some months after I decided to add a second hole to each ear...few months after this came a third...and then ye you guessed it..a forth. I always wore very small hoops with 3 different coloured studs going up my ear, but found it annoying because I had to take them out every night as the backs stabbed into the bit behind my ear! Eventually I have stopped wearing so many as I think this was just a phase...plus I've lost most of my studs now anyway lol.

Although all of my ear holes are still open I think id only go as far to wear 3 holes in just because its too much bother!
