An Irishman an English man and a Scotsman have lost their passes for the Olympic games. They decided to sneak in with an excuse and use something lying around. The Scotsman picks up a pair of running shoes and announces to the security man that he’s running the 800m and forgot his spikes. In he goes. The Englishman picks up some old swim shorts and tells the guy he’s coaching the diving team and they forget some kit. In he goes. As you know that this year is the year of the World Athletics Championships and everyone was looking for the Brits to do well and claim some medals. Well that has not happened this year and this is due to that we had injury’s and we have not really performed in some cases. Well I am going to take you through each event and who from Britain was participating and who were also the winners. Well, firstly I am surprised that nobody has expressed their opinion on the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton. It's currently the biggest out of the sports at the moment and it's shaping out to pretty good. Anyway, after watching another failed British medal this morning I felt like writing about it. I was really looking forward to the 100 Meters finals as guys like Greene, Boldon and Montgomery were running exceptionally quick times in the heats. Also Christian Malcolm and Dwain Chambers were in the final which was nice to see. I was hoping at least one of these could gain a medal but a bad lane draw for both of them slightly hampered this.
