Over the past couple of months I have began to delve deeper into the SCARY underworld known as Mailmerge.

This is a group of people who deliberately hack into your mail, whether it’s personal or business.

I am horrified by what I have found. They claim to be able to read anyone’s mail, no matter what security, and I tell you what I tend to believe them.

The reason I do so is that when I first was contacted by a member of "Mailmerge" they boasted about what they could do. And to prove themselves they asked me to create an email account from any ISP in the world, and they would hack it within 24 hours.

Well I was curious; I accepted the challenge and set about creating an account. Well I plumped with a YAHOO account, as this was easy to set-up. I sent an email to this new account, and including in it, a secret code. If they could tell me this code then they won.

Well sure enough they did, and within 30mins of me creating the account they has the code. Then they asked if I wanted to join their organisation. They said that I could be a millionaire by next year. By this stage I was shivering, I thought of all the emails I had sent and received. Both from home and college, just what information these guys could access.

I simply politely told them no (don’t want to make enemies in this gang) and up to yet I have not received another word from them.

Now this brings me onto a bit of advice. No matter what your email address is, if you connect to the Internet, DO NOT use email for important information. And if a cult called "MAILMERGE" contact you by email, ignore it, and realise that whatever information you had within that account is now common knowledge by them. This is what happened to me. I was the "chosen one".

Your emails are never safe; email privacy is non-existent, sending your stuff by pigeon mail is safer.

Hope you don’t suffer t
he same horrifying, yet eye opening, and experience as myself.

PS. Don’t confuse the cult "mailmerge" with the option inside Microsoft products such as WORD. Id you see this option on your CPU, don’t worry its meant to be there. lol

I agree this is scary, but there are a group of people far worse who don't even have to bother hacking. They are legally allowed to read EVERY email and text message sent or received in the UK. Their name? MI5!
