I think everyone has a day when they come home from work tired and cant be bothered to make an effort with dinner. Sometimes i get home from work and i am so exhausted that i just pop a quick "emergency dinner" on the stove. My personal favourite emergency dinner is chilli con carne. It is so simple to make and everyone in my house seems to like it. It basically consists of beans and rice. Just put some mince in a pan and add kidney beans with chilli sauce, baked beans and butter beans, then maybe just add some tinned tomatoes and pepper, or chilli powder if you like things spicy, and thats it. You can have it on jacket potato, or with rice, it is that simple and whilst it is cooking you can just sit and relax watching the tv or on the computer. Its no real meal to impress, its just a fast and healthy alternative to going to mcdonalds, as we can all get sick of that! I work there so coming home to a nice home made dinner is a very nice change and can be quite refreshing for me! Anyway i would like to know what you all think of my meal, if you have any comments or anything?
