Every tournement we hype up our national team, but we rarely do well. We overate our players, and jump on managers and players backs too fast.

I have this theory - The '66 World Cup win was a fluke. And because of this win, we thought we were better than we really are. Till we face that we are not a top 15 team, the more chance of succes we have. Look at Denmark, they didn't even quailfy for Euro '92 but won it. Why? Cause the fans were happy with each progresion in the tournement made. We shouldn't expect to win every tournement, but hope that reach the knockout stages, were luck can sometimes get you thorough.
