England National Rugby Players & Coaches TeamNewest Review: ... southern hemisphere at this moment; it has nothing to do with Martin Johnson's managerial ability whatsoever. At club level our young stars shine, but on the international stage their inexperience shows up massively; they seem to rely solely on the pre-match game plans and cannot adapt their playing style to the circumstances occurring in front of them the way the great sides do. If you ... more |

It wasn't long ago that everybody was saying, who would possibly want to be the English Football Manager? At the moment I'm thinking the same thing regarding the National Rugby Team. Martin Johnson will have realised with the recent defeats to Australia, South Africa and New Zealand, just how big a job he has taken on. The simple fact is though that our players simply aren't good enough to compete with the top sides from the southern hemisphere at this moment; it has nothing to do with Martin Johnson's managerial ability whatsoever. Wasn’t it great to see Johnny having a good drink in those tabloid pics, a big release for wonder boy, who is supposedly tea-total and unlikely to play a World Cup match again for England. Wasn’t it also reassuring to see Brigadier Prince Harry didn’t flinch under constant barrage of champagne corks! Who needs Iraq to test one when there’s the ultimate challenge of a rugby player’s bender available If you want a royal tt represent England’s social habits and traditions then Harry’s our man! So hands up who actually thought England would be in Sunday’s bruising and thrilling final? I count myself in the ‘no chance mate’ camp after that 36-0 South African ... Read the complete review

England Rugby team is in the final of the rugby union world cup. It will make history if it wins it because no team has defended the cup in the past. I am not a fan of rugby. I will be watching this time because of media hype and because of England in the final of a big competition. I follow national football side. Have been to many matches. In football we won't qualify so this makes it all the important for me to watch the final because of our national team. Sport don't matter to me. The final is on Saturday in France and I have been reading up about it on various sites. From the information I have digested it is like a miracle for us to be ... Read the complete review

I would love to say that I am passionate about rugby and how much it means to me that England have made it to the World Cup Final but I have to be honest and admit that I'm a regular fan, that is that I follow rugby on a regular basis every four years and in the time that lapses between I have absolutely no idea what is going on. In fact if I'm honest I have no idea what is going on during the eighty minutes of the game and if it was not for the fact that the referee is miked up I probably would have even less of an idea. What I do know is that the back are a lot better looking than the forwards, that England are not meant to be in the final and have got there ... Read the complete review
