With the credit crunch on everyone's minds recently, so many companies are offering free credit reports. I, like thousands of others, have been watching the pennies after getting a bit out of my depth with debts. We are constantly being bombarded by 'The Persuaders' telling us how we must have the latest electrical gizmo, new car, more up to date furniture, exotic holidays and a whole host of other things. How can we possibly be happy without them they insist. All well and good if we have a bank account overflowing with money but, unfortunately, the majority of us aren't that lucky.
