Advantages: Very successful Manager.

Disadvantages: No International Experience

Given the time this man will be the most successful man in English football’s history. He has no international managerial but has been a very successful club manager at Lazio and a small Swedish club. He has also been manager of IFK Gothenburg, one of the biggest. Sven has also been at the helm at Benfica, a huge Lisbon club, and Lazio's arch rivals Rome. He won the Serie A Championship with Lazio under huge amounts of pressure. He was given an ultimatum of winning Serie A or the Champions League, or be sacked. With Lazio soon out of Europe his career at Lazio was looking bleak, but he done magnificently to win the Italian championship, and keep his job a further 6 months. When Sven left Lazio their form was poor. Bottom in their respective Champions League Phase 2 stage and fourth in Serie A, considered a crisis for some teams in that Nation. Sven signed a pre-contact agreement with The Football Association to be the manager of England, when he was still manager of Lazio. This infuriated some supporters of Lazio and fans were calling for his head week in, week out. With this pressure Sven decided to leave Lazio and immediately travelled to England to become manager. Sven Speak perfect English but he has obviously a strong Sewdish tourist accent.

Peter Taylor was originally instated to be a caretaker manager for the Italy and Spain internationals, but was only manager for the Italy game, which England lost 1-0. Sven Goran Eriksson has all the potential to win the World Cup for England in 2006 in Germany, but I doubt he will win us the 2002 World Cup finals in Japan and South Korea. He needs all the support he can get from the fans and the managers of all the teams in the English League. If he gets this, England will be glorious.
