I had seen Dooyoo making a bit of a fuss about the Erotic section recently billed as "an over 18s only category with plenty of naughty surprises." and thought that it would be a good fun addition to the site. Not to mention providing practical independent recommendations on products that it can be a bit embarrassing to ask about face to face.

The first reviews were very tentative and seemed to centre around "erotic costume" and novelty items. I thought that this was just because people were a little bit embarrassed to suggest more "hands on" erotic products ,so to speak.

Anyway I thought what the hell I'll get the ball rolling and suggest a vibrator to review. Hardly the most adventurous suggestion as the vibrator I put forward was the Rampant Rabbit. Never has a sex toy had as much a press as this one, thanks to the ladies on Sex and the City it is almost a byword for such products. However I thought it would be not only interesting but useful to have it reviewed in the real world. I can assure you my review was going to be a very practical review not explicit or titillating - just good honest opinion about a product that it can be hard to discuss with friends and family.

Thanks to the ladies on Sex and the City I thought that the stigma about sex toys had gone, no longer to be whispered about and wrapped up in anonymous paper bags - there seems to be an Ann Summers on the high street of most cities. Unfortunately Dooyoo did not feel the same and my suggestion was rejected. The team had asked us "don't be shy - tell us what you think!" it seems that Dooyoo are the shy ones here as my suggestion was rejected :(

I know that such products are not to every ones taste but I think reviews on these type of products would have been very useful to alot of people.

I'm not sure how you are meant to star these kind of discussions so I will just go straight down the middle.
