This year the Estoril circuit will hold a round of the MotoGP for the first time on 3rd September. In the past it has held Formula One Races, a number of which I've attended but they lost this race in 1997. After a period of refurbishment and safety improvements it is once more being used as an F1 testing circuit and a number of Grand Prix Bike teams have tested there this year and the general consensus is it will be a good track for Bike racing. Having lost high ranking events in the past, I am sure the circuit organizers will be hoping the Bike GP puts the Estoril circuit back on the motor racing map as an ideal place to hold international level races. ...
