Euthanasia makes life disposable (Euthanasia)

Advantages: I dont think is there any

Disadvantages: A dying patient may not be able to make a rational decision

Euthanasia is a topic that all people seem to take seriously. Many are passionately against it. Other people are completely in favour of the humans right to choose how and when they will die, feeling strongly that it is simply up to them.

My grandmother is terminally ill and nowadays there is no available therapy to treat brain tumour . She was diagnosed 7 weeks ago and has also kidney problems. Recently she asked my parents and me why it is not moral and prohibited to end her suffering. She says that keeping her in pain is not loving, it is inhuman.

In my view there is no clear answers and there is plenty of arguments for and against euthanasia. Some people would argue that it will help yo shorten the grief and suffering of the patients family,but i would not agree at all. It is still painful and wrong to lose beloved person no matter how he will die. I think that if there were better facilities for caring for dying,there would be no need for euthanasia. Many pain killing drugs can help patient die without pain and with dignity.

Recently I read pro-euthanasia organization views,they say that most people would have their pets put down if they were suffering and in this case it would be regarded as kindness. I could not find the answer why the same kind act cannot be given to suffering patients?

To be honest , I think my grandmother was pushed into saying she want euthanasia because some of our relatives ( my uncle and aunt) do not want to look after her, sad,but true.
To sum up, I think if euthanasia will be legalised,the relationship between doctors,nurses and patients can be destroyed . Doctors promised to save and preserve life not to destroy it. I think that's the most important reason why i am against euthanasia and abortion .
