Everything about my dad!Newest Review: ... in Glover Road. He always paid his way, made sure that his family were fed and clothed and even stretched to a holiday every year in Wales. He was always a proud man and his home was his castle. One day at work he had an accident and lost half of his finger, at the time it was terrible because he couldn't work after that but he paid off his house with the compensation and settled down to an early retirement knowing that his family would always have a roof over their heads. I would like to introduce you to my Dad he is called Joe and has lived in Sheffield all his life. He has reached the ripe old age of 89 and can still get his point of view across in that cracking Yorkshire twang; he does not suffer fools lightly and talks rather loud because he refuses to wear his deaf aid. He is in a wheel chair now because his legs are getting a bit weary and he does nothing but spout orders when being pushed around. He drives me to distraction at times when he gets cantankerous, but I take a deep breath and just say "yes dad or no dad' depending on what he is saying just to keep the old boy sweet, all the family ...
