I am an unfortunate blonde girl, in that I have the eyebrows of a not so blonde girl! I also have an aversion to plucking them, and waxing is tolerable, but painful. So when some colleagues were sent to India for work and came back telling me about the benefits of eyebrow threading I was excited to have a go. Having always been a little nervous of getting my eyebrows waxed (the thought of stray wax removing my entire eyebrow) I decided last month to try threading. Eyebrows can completely change a person's face and I was more than fed up of plucking. A friend had reccommended threading as an alternative as she had had it done and said it was great and not very painful. Having looked at it on the internet I decided to get it done in my local beauticians after checking out prices on the internet. At £8 for both eyebrows I think this pricing is very reasonable. Eyebrow threading is a technique which has been used in Asian and Middle-Eastern countries for decades, but has only recently grown in popularity in the UK. Suddenly brow bars offering threading seem to be springing up all over the place - you can even have them done on a stand in the shopping centre at Bluewater, or in the John Lewis Beauty department on Oxford Street while you're in the middle of a shopping trip.
