Advantages: educational
Disadvantages: ?
Falcon has made jigsaw puzzles for many years I cannot find out how long but I recognise the name from puzzles when I was a child.
Falcon makes jigsaw puzzles for adults and children.
The puzzles for adults have either, 2000 or 1000 there is a selection of puzzles containing 500 pieces these are sold in a pack of two. The picture subjects on Falcon puzzles include a picture of Sandringham castle set in its garden There are other scenes of England in this series such as the lake district. The 1000 piece puzzles cost about £8.99
There is a double sided east enders puzzle one side has picture of Albert square the other side is an Arial view the one that appears on the soap programmes credits. There are other puzzles in this series including Batman or the Simpson’s.
Here is a set of train puzzles one of train spotting with Granddad, a granddad and a boy stood by their car watching a train go past puzzles pieces Falcon puzzles are made from card.
There are puzzles for children I recently bought a bob the builder one for Adrian this is a picture of Bob standing by scoop. Adrian aged 3 loves it and finds it fairly easy to do (mind you he is advanced for his age)) this puzzle has 15 chunky thick card pieces. This one cost £5.99p new.
There are many puzzles for children containing popular characters ranging in difficulty and number of pieces some with 25 some 50 some 60 and some 100.
I have seen Falcon jigsaws in sale in several shops but if you wish to shop on line there are plenty of Falcon jigsaws available at
http://www.jigsawgallery.com/details.php. There is a falcon jigsaw website www.falcongames.co but they do not sell the puzzles on line. Falcon also makes jigsaw accessories. A portable board that folds up for making the jigsaw on so that you do not have to use the dining table all the time and so you can take it anywhere you like easily.
Falcon puzzles arte quite well made fairly sturdy. The colours good. I think they would make an excellent Christmas present .for any one who likes puzzles.
Puzzles are good for children they help develop their fine motor skills their spatial awareness. Will help develop hand eye co-ordination. Promote their ability to think logically and will encourage their concentration time. Depending on the puzzle picture a puzzle will help matching and colour recognition. So puzzles are an educational toy fun but educational but a child you know one for Christmas, but dont tell them its educational. Thanks for reading Mary
Summary: good jigsaw puzzles
