Its fair to say I'm a Dooyoo addict . While I don't write everyday , I do often have big writing binges, then go quiet for a little bit, then binge again . So, without going off on a big long introduction about my dooyooing habits, how I came to be here, etc , I have a few small suggestions of things I would perhaps like to see .

1) An integrated Amazon Wish list .

I KNOW I can bookmark things I like on Amazon, and then order them with my Dooyoo Miles . I frequently do! But I would like to see on reviews about books for example, some kind of link so I could automatically click to add it to my wish list. I would then like, when I cash in my dooyoo miles, to be able to see on Dooyoo what I bookmarked as wanting to read/watch/listen to , and use that list as a basis for ordering it .

I would then like, about a week later, a reminder in my messages telling me that now I have this wonderful book/cd/dvd I should now review it .

Hey, it's a nice idea, I never said it was practical . I KNOW it would take a huge amount of effort to set up, and may not even be possible, but a girl can dream .

2) Report Functions

Now, Dooyoo is not so plagued by plagiarism as Ciao . And, I know that users here are perfectly able to make their feelings about plagiarism clear either in their rating, their commenting, or both . However, I don't think plagiarised reviews should be allowed to just sit there, but the current process of reporting suspicions to the team is a little bulky.

Now, wouldn't it be lovely if underneath every opinion there was a button saying 'report this review' . Not only could you report it for plagiarism, but also if it contained content blatantly inappropriate for the site . You clicky the button, and a nice admin somewhere gets to go look it up and look into it

I appreciate there may be abuse of this, perhaps even some abuse with malicious intent - so perhaps make a penalty for any reports deemed malicious - perhaps a small loss of miles perhaps if you are found to be deliberately reporting someone who is NOT plagiarising.

Obviously, this may impact on those cross posting from other sites - simply add a box to the profile fields where people could display their username on ciao, epinions, etc, where it would be visible to all .

Also, I would like to be able to report malicious ratings. I think I have only recieved one in my whole time on Dooyoo, but it does happen, and in the case on one member (very public at the moment) a member that had ot posted for over a year came back to give someone a not useful rating, and then bugger off again . This seems suspicious, and should be looked into .

3) A bookmarking / review draft system .

Often, I'll read a review on a product that will remind me I have that product, or have used it too . I'll think 'Oooh, I should review that' , but, as I tend to read only the most recently written reviews, I wont want to write about it straight away for fear of filching someone else's well deserved reads . I'd like to be able to bookmark products, or even start a draft, to remind me to come back and review it later .

4) Review Wish List

Sometimes, I'll hear about a book, want to know how good it is , and look for it on here to find it's up, but no one has reviewed it yet . I KNOW I can be emailed when the product is reviewed, but I would like to be able to flag for peoples attention that I am interested in hearing about this product, and for there to be a list, on the community page, of products that people desire more reviews on . I'd also like to be notified via site PM when it is reviewed, not by email, as my spam filter eats everything up .

5) Spell Checker

Again, maybe not do-able , but a girl can dream . I see so many poorly spelled reviews on here, and it frustrates me . I'll let you in to a little secret though, I'm a terrible speller . I have a little secret though, I now use a Firefox plug in that corrects me as I type - resulting in me starting to spell definite right (I always used definate before) for the first time in years . If it could be done, I'd love to see something like this as a feature of the site, although again I appreciate that would require a lot of programming .

6) Adding photos to reviews

Come on already! Sometimes, in particular with holidays, a few personal photos are a lovely touch , and something Ciao has the advantage over Dooyoo on .

7) Video Reviews

Ditto . I don't even need to be paid more for a video review, but sometimes, it would be easier to talk than type, like when I have drunk huge amounts of a new beer and am ready to show you the glorious effects . Okay, maybe not a good example, but I do like watching video reviews, and wish we could have them here .

8) A New Products Page

Again, something we don't have that Ciao does . Sometimes, people suggest stuff and forget to review it . I personally think al new products should be added to a clickable link from the main community page so we can all see what is new and up for review . Of course, people suggesting a product should get first shot at reviewing it, so give them 72 hours or something, then open it up to the rest of us! I'm sure people have suggested things and not reviewed them that I might no about, and I'd love for these new products to be shown as such so they could be reviewed, than sit, as many products seem to, empty of reviews because they get lost .

Overall though, I love Dooyoo . I love writing here, I've made a few friends , and I make a few quid each year to treat myself to a DVD , which I then review, and make more money, and buy more DVD's in one big circle! Dooyoo rocks, but I think these changes would make it rock even more, even if some of them are really unlikely to happen .
