I am fairly new to Dooyoo, but i really really need to have a rant!! I will be the first one to put my hands up and admit that im not the best reviewer on here but I do try and put at least a reasonable effort into my reviews.

150 words is not really hard to achieve, and there are some decent to the point reviews out there that are short and stick to pretty much the limit, however there are so many shoddy reviews just lately im beggining to loose faith.

Yesterday alone I rated a review, it seemed really really good, until i found out from another member that it was in fact a FRAUD. This seems to be a common occurance especially with the new members, (not all new members, just a minority i think who are churning out such rubbish!). This clogs up the system and is not fair on those of us who are honest and trying hard to write a good review.

Maybe Dooyoo should have limit to people who can join, maybe an invite only approach and monitor reviews especially for newer members? I would love as said in previous posts on this page a report button for these appalling reviews!

Revenge rating is also really really getting to me now. I like to think that i rate honestly and carefully. A really useful personally I feel should only go to reviews that have been carefully written and thought out, the review should make you wnat to at least consider getting the product, or to be cautious with certain products. A useful rating from me indicates that I really like your review, but your just missing that little wow factor. A somewhat useful is a good rating, i use those when some effort has been made but either the writer has used 'listing' to arrive at the word count, or there is too much product description and not enough personal experience or feeling! Not useful is used when there has blanatly no effort or it has been poached from somewhere else!

I try not to leave negative comments, I like to think that they are structured to help people write better reviews (sorry if anybody has taken offence to what I have written, unles you have broken the Dooyoo rules and just copied someone elses work and passed it off as your own!!). I really appreciate comments that have been written about mine, most have been really helpful!

All in all so far I am very happy with Dooyoo and the people who have commented and left ratings on my reviews. Im really hoping that they are getting better. Sorry for ranting, but I was just a tad annoyed!!

Im feeling much calmer after getting that off my chest!!

I wouldn't worry about revenge rating. Dooyoo's not like Ciao, the rating doesn't affect your rewards. Just console yourself with the fact that simply by visiting your review they have given you more Dooyoo Miles!

As soon as I notice a revenge-rater - not just on my own reviews, but on everybody's, I make a special point of avoiding them like the plague, and from then on never read any of their reviews.

Thing is lulu things don't really change. Been on here for nearly nine years and you'll always get the fakes and frauds, trolls etc. I tend to ignore them, they get bored and go back to Bebo ! Unless they change the reward process. If you change the reward process people won't get involved for nothing...sad I know.
