Advantages: Great imaginative toy with lots of accessories
Disadvantages: Case could do with being a little larger
My daughter has just had her third birthday, the only thing we could get out of her that she really wanted was a doctors set and clothes. My sister promised to get her one. We searched all the shops looking for a doctor's set and bag although they were readily available they were just plastic things that did nothing. My sister remembered that when her children were young her's had a fisher price set. So off we scoured the shops for one. None of the big shops had one but we found one in a small toyshop. This set is great it came in a large box and had a plastic case to keep everything in, a thermometer, a blood pressure gage that the gage actually went round as you pumped, a stethoscope, a plastic plaster, a rubber hammer to test reflexes that doubles up as a gadget to look in ears and a syringe. My sister then cut some plasters up and put those in as well. My daughter has had hours of fun with this and all her dolls are covered in plasters where they've been made better at some time or other. I think this sort of imaginitave play is really good for the young ones. The set cost £9.99 and I feel that this is really good value for money. My mind is put at rest as well by knowing that Fisher Price are really strong and safe for the children to play with. Well worth thinking about for Christmas for those with youngsters.
