Advantages: well made, will grow with my son,
Disadvantages: none
It's a pity we can't write more than one opinion in a section because I could fill this one!! Firstly, I don't buy many toys new, a lot of them are secondhand but in good condition, car boot, charity shop etc. I have ,however, bought the Fisher Price Kick 'n' Play Piano new. I saw it and, being a musician myself, I just HAD to get it. Start them young, I say! I have had it attached to the side of my son's cot since he went in it at 5 weeks and it's given us some much needed peace, often! Designed like a mini piano, it has 5 keys and lights above that flash as the music plays. It has 3 musical settings. Constant music, which play though about 8 nursery rhymes in turn and goes on for about 15 minutes if left to play. It is re-activated again if baby touches the keys. It also has a setting where, as each key is pressed, it makes a note, sound or small tune. The final option just plays the note that was pressed. My son of 7 months loves it and he often goes to sleep with the constant music setting on, watching the lights. What's more, it'll grow with him. Well, I'm running out of room, but suffice to say that ALL the fisher Price toys I have are big hits with my son.
