Advantages: Should be a good match....
Disadvantages: ....that’s if you’ve got Sky that is.
In a word, yes. Although as a staunch England supporter, I hate to admit this but Germany will prove to be far more sterner opposition then they were in Euro 2000. England will probably be available as high as ‘evens’ with Germany generally quoted at 8/5 and the draw as low as 7/4 If I was forced to pick the result, I’d say 2-1 to England. Although as most World Cup qualification matches go, I’d advise against trying to predict a result. And will some Man. Utd players ‘cry wolf’ again with an ‘injury’? Who will be the ‘front two’? And how has Germany coped so far? (Ignore this week’s match-up against France on September 2nd, this shouldn’t prove to be anything significant). But by all means, take up Coral’s very generous offer of Tony Adams to be the captain at 4/7. (Sol Campbell 2/1, Paul Ince 12/1, David Seaman 16/1). Adama seems to be currently injury-free and has never really shown anything that hasn’t proved his ability as a decent captain.. Although do Coral know something I don’t!?

- 11/01/01 You've no chance.
Can you English not get it that you are simply not good enough.
Now you have a manager who left his last club because he wasn't getting results.
Enough said I think!!!!

- 03/10/00 Even though you wrote your opinion just over a month ago, you have amazing foresight!
The odds are remarkably similar and that tip about Tony Adams to be the captain against Germany was a bit worrying but unbelievably seems to have turned out good.
Good work fella! |
