Advantages: Foxes would still be alive

Disadvantages: none

Fox hunting in my opinion is a disgrace to still be going on in the 21st Century, its a thing I associate with Centuries gone by when people hunted for food not in the modern age of the year 2000.

I understand the fox hunters arguement that foxes are a menace but I don`t agree I think its just done by people who are sick and love seing animals in pain. These animals are defensless and the fox hunters ravage at the thrill of seing them in pain, shown by the grins etc when pro-fox hunters are debating. It makes me sick. Its just like a human hating another/or finding them a pest so deciding to kill them,it just doesn`t happen legally.Just because these foxes can`t speak for themselves and are defensless its alright is it?

If these people really find foxes a pest to their land surely there are other methods than killing them. For me the best idea would be to put up electric fences, these would keep the foxes out.Its not likely but even if the Goverment stepped in and offered farmers who find foxes a pain funding to put the fences up it would stop the arguement that farmers couldn`t afford to put the fencing up.

Ive read a few sites and was disgusted to find out that fox hunting actually goes on until May,Fox cubs are normally born in March so its been filmed that foxes being killed whilst pregnant and the remains of the unborn cub being left all over the place, thats sick and if it happened to a human would bring almighty uproar.Ive read how foxes are chased until they are that tired they give up and are ravaged to death if they do manage to get to safety the hunters who find this to be unsportman like!do you believe that,an animal running for its life is unsportsman! They either then send a terrier down to get it or wait to dig the fox out and then send a dog in to get it and most likely alot more would be in the foxes den.

I think its time now that the Goverment stepped in to stop Fox hunting,I understand they have to come to a compromise
to protect voters form both side but when animals lives are on the line something must be done and fast.

your opinions seem largely to be based on wimpy propaganda and a bizarre mix of empathy and class resentment. you seem to think that anyone willing to engage in a sport af any nature is a slathering bloodthirsty beast. why don't you talk with someone who has gone hunting; or try forming an opinion for yourself instead of being swept up with the masses.

I too support Chester City. Your opinion was passionate but badly thought out. Electric fences to keep out foxes?!!

Is it alright, in your opinion, to enjoy the kill if you're going to eat the animal eg fishing or pheasant shooting?

I'm guessing you're a meat eater so I think the bit where you draw comparisons between killing a human and killing a fox are ludicrously hypocritical.

Do n't get me wrong I'd like to see foxhunting banned but thats because I don't like the method of death, the chase or the red coats.

i'm up for that !!
i hate fox hunters
We wouldn't need weapons as the pr*cks who hunt are weak and can only target small animals !!
