Dario Franchitti has been the only British driver in CART for the last few years. Mark Blundell used to race with some success, but recently left the series. Dario comes from Bathgate which is near Edinburgh, in Scotland. Being Scottish myself he is my favourite CART driver at the present, though Alex Zanardi and Juan Pablo Montoya rank up there as some of my favourites. I'm hoping that Dario will come to F1 one day and I think he would do well, despite his poor test for Jaguar Racing last year.
