Born in 1985 in Toulouse, Gael Clichy is one of the current generation of technically brilliant young players coming through at Arsenal through Arsene Wenger. Already accepted as one of the top five left backs in the Premier League, he is considered by many in the top three alongside Patrice Evra and Ashley Cole.
