Made you look! Personally, I don't think that there is as much of a community spirit and general interaction between members as there should be. I have been a keen follower of the Tour de France for a number of years now and it never fails to amaze me just how the riders do it. They spend up to 6 hours in the saddle each day for three weeks and only get a couple of rest days. The cyclists really are the most physically and mentally strong people in sport. It is true that many drop out mid-way throught the tour but at least 2/3 of the original field finish in Paris at the end of the tour. This is a remarkable achievement given the distances and terrain involved. The mountain stages are the ultimate test for most riders and this is where the time gaps start to appear. well folks he's done it again. the great lance armstrong has won the tour de france. let me explain why i knew lance armstrong would win the tour de france and why he's in the minds of all bikers now. he won the tour de france last year while he had CANCER and now he's back without it, and you expect him to loose? so maybe tons of people thought he'd win it again. well i'll be the first to say, that i believe he won't next year. all the racers are psyched out that he won it again and now they're gonna try harder and harder. which makes things harder for Lance. i believe though that not next year, but the year after that he'll win ...
