Another bunch of questions for you all to get your teeth into, its just an insight into my thoughts and feelings about these topics and i do understand theat some of you may not agree with me so feel free to voice your opinion on the comments page!

SHOULD SMOKING BE BANNED IN PUBLIC PLACES?

I would love to be able to say yes to this because i am well aware of health risks involved in passive smoking however i really believe that other measures could have been taken instead of contucting a total ban.
I am a smoker and there is nothing like having a ciggie after a meal or with a drink but i do understand that some people do not like to be around smoke but was that not what smoking and non-smoking areas are for in most cafe's? It is a personal choice wither to smoke or not so i am slightly bother by the total ban in public areas. However i do agree that it is unfair that smokers subject non-smokers to passive smoking but i feel that this could be fixed in other ways. Having an exclusive area in a pub that is sealed off and has air conditioning would be a great way to keep a pub smoke free. Of course it would be expensive to do but i'm sure many pubs would pay that to have people come to them. I would rather go to a pub that i can smoke in than one that i cant.



IS CAPITAL PUNISHMENT WRONG?

Like all of these questions there is not a right or wrong answer. I do think that people who have commited very bad crimes do need to pay and ill be honest and say that someone who has made the choice to take another persons life should expect to pay for it with there own.
On the other hand many crimes like this rarely have a clean cut story. What about a man who kills his wife's lover in a rage? This is different from a cold blooded murder. Where do you draw the line? So in answer to the question i think capital punishment should be reserved for only the worsed possible criminals. Men and woman who have murdered and will never be safe enough to be released from prision. This could be serial killers, mass murders, or people that take the lives of children. This probably seems harsh but nobody has the right to do something as bad as that so they need to pay the price for the destruction they cause.



IS BEAUTY ONLY SKIN DEEP?

lol, no i guess its not, however it is nice to have a man thats pleasing on the eye (or woman), i think it would be difficult to get jiggy with someone who looked like the back end of a elephants arse. In saying this everybody likes different things, for example a guy that i think got poked several times with the ugly stick may appeal very much to another girl and vice versa.


DO ANIMALS HAVE RIGHTS?

Yes!! Who gave us the all the rights? Animals were here long before humans yet because of us they are forced into tiny cages and slaughtered in shocking ways. It is of course natural for us to eat animals but there needs to be a balance on what is exeptable in farming and what is not. Animals cannot speak for themselves there for we need to speak for them. We need to make sure that enviroments of farming and slaughter are humane.
Think how outraged you'd be if humans were not at the top of the food chain. How pissed of would you be if someone stuck you in a pen with 20 others and fattened you up for a big old feast. We have rights there for so should our animals.




DOES BRITIAN NEED A MONARCHY?

Well, i dont know too much about all this to give an opinion so ill not answer it. Sorry!



SHOULD FOX HUNTING BE BANNED IN ENGLAND AND WALES?

Yes, i have strong opinions on fox hunting and am all for the banning. A fox can be a pest for farmers and i think he does have a right to removing it should it become a real problem. However fox hunting is not the answer, it is a blood sport and as much as people will argue that the dogs kill the fox straight away this is not the case. Its a cruel and upsetting end to any animals life. Lets face it being ripped to shreds by a bunch hounds is not an appealing demise.



WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON LEGAL PROSTITUTION?

Why not? I have no problem with this. It is a personal choice what you do with your body so if you what to sell it then thats up to you! People are becoming less and less embarrassed about sex and all that sort of thing so i think now in this day and age prostitution is becoming less looked down on. Of course there are drug users that need to do this sort of thing to help pay for their next fix so i still think that it should be kept off the streets but the idea of a 'house' or 'clinic' type area is a great idea. This would keep standards high. Perhaps prostitutes should be registered and have regular health checks to reduce STD's.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON PORNOGRAPHY?

Only if it has men in it. lol, porn is tacky, cheesy and in some cases rank but its there and no matter what we do there is always going to be a picture of boobs and flowers floating about your mans PC somewhere. I have no problem with it, it doesnt affect my life in any way so i cant complain. I find it hard to understand why some woman find it dirty, sex is natural and something that shouldnt be considered dirty, it is a man (or woman) choice to read or watch it so let them get on with it.
