Advantages: learn new things about people
Disadvantages: you might find it boring to read
I have seen so many of these being done recently. I really enjoy reading them and finding out new things about other people so I thought I would give one a go myself.
1. How long on average does it take you to get rid of someone trying to sell you something over the telephone?
Pretty quickly as I usually tell them that I'm not interested if I'm not in a polite but firm manner. Generally they are happy enough and seem to appreciate my honesty.
2. What is the most expensive item you have ever broken on purpose, (when angry counts as on purpose) even if you regretted it soon after?
To be honest I don't ever remember ever breaking anything on purpose. I have broken lots of things by accident and regretted not looking after them more carefully if that counts. I one time broke a cello that I had on loan from the school I felt so bad my dad had to fix it for me. I had left it balancing on the bed and it fell when I left the room as my younger sister had decided she had wanted to play it.
3. If you buy something for 99p with a £1 coin do you really want the 1p back?
Not really I wish things were full prices as I round them up in my head anyway. That saying I do always take my 1 pence change when I'm given it.
4. What was the last thing you shouted when alone in the car?
Well I don't drive because I can't pass my test, as I tend to get out of cars in my test lol! I am partial to singing quite loudly in the car even when other people are there if I like the song on the radio.
5. What is your usual path through the supermarket?
I tend to start off at the clothes section in Tesco where I spend too much time and then rush around the rest in a wild panic. I usually get my healthy foods first and spend ages deciding if I should have a treat.
6. Do you lick the underside of the foil top when eating a pot of yoghurt.
I use a spoon instead of actually licking it. I just hate to see it go to waste plus I find it saves me the hassle of having to be careful with the foil.
7. How many greetings cards have you sent in the last twelve months?
As I was away in Australia at Christmas I have sent loads of cards for Christmas and various birthdays to remind everyone at home that I was thinking about them.
8. A criminal maniac invites you to "pick a city for destruction Mr. Bond" which one would you choose?
Huh? I'm not really sure what this is asking. If it's destroying a city I wouldn't choose any of them.
9. Which font do you most often?
Whatever font I'm using now on Dooyoo is the font I use most often when writing my reviews.
10. If you had a choice between a petrol chainsaw or a bread knife which would you use for felling a small tree with a 1in diameter trunk?
Probably a bread knife as I wouldn't be so sure I could trust myself with a chainsaw.
11. On a scale of 1-10 how confident are you when to use a semicolon?
Well I would be a 1 as I'm so bad at punctuation, I just use a spell checker. Makes me sounds so lazy!
12. What proportion of the CD's you own are in the original cases right now?
All of my CD's are in their original cases however a lot of the cases are broken and chipped which isn't really a good thing.
13. Favourite colour black or white?
I love the colour white it's just so fresh. Any colour that is bright will get my attention.
14. How accurate is the time on your watch?
Hopefully very accurate as it has been set to the same time as the teletext.
15. What are you wearing right now?
A pair of jeans, a top and a jacket.
16. Have you ever written to, emailed or telephoned a newspaper, radio station, t.v. programme etc. what did you say?
That is one thing I have never done.
17. Do you in the fundamental depths of your soul, give a crap about the extinction of the red cockaded woodpecker?
I think any animal becoming extinct is a great shame and loss. When I was in Australia I seen a certain type of fox that was extinct (obviously the one I seen was dead and stuffed) and I thought how much of a shame that they didn't exist anymore.
18. What is the cheapest thing you have bought with a debit or credit card in the past month?
I hardly every use my debit card I usually use cash. It probably was a top I bought in Top Shop for £14.99.
19. Favourite books?
I hardly ever have time to read books anymore. I can't remember any of the titles that I have read either.
20. What is your most favourite meal?
It all really depends on what mood I'm in. If I'm in the mood for junk food there is a chip shop near where I live that does the best sausage and chip yum yum making me hungry now lol!
