I've been meaning to do one of these 20 question things for a while and as I've been away from Dooyoo for a while I thought I'd ease myself back in gently. For some reason I usually find reading these bizarrely interesting - this one, of course, could be the exception to the rule!


01 - How old are you?
Although I hate to admit it I'm 40. I turned 40 this year and I was absolutely terrified before the event. It seemed like the most depressing thing in the world, but actually it was no big deal. Nothing happened, nothing changed, bit of an anticlimax really! So all you 39 year olds - stop worrying ;-)

02 - What colour are your eyes?
Sort of a non-descript greeny-grey sludgy colour... I usually just put green.

03 - How tall are you?
About this tall (can you see where my hand is?)

04 - Hair Colour
Brown with some new, and rather distinguished looking, silver highlights

05 - Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Nope, there's just lil' old me

06 - Do you prefer cats or dogs?
Definitely dogs - dogs rule! Unfortunately my partner feels exactly the same way... about cats.
We don't have any pets.

07 - What is your job?
Cinema projectionist, or to give it it's proper title 'senior technician'. (I think the senior bit just means I'm old!)

08 - Do you like your job?
It has its moments and I've been doing it for 11 years so something must be keeping me there. I work 40 hours a week but just over 3 days so although they are 3 very long days I do get 4 days off a week. Oh and I get to see all the latest rubbish that Hollywood churns out.

09 - What is your favorite dessert?
Anything with the word chocolate in it. Or the word cream. Or the word custard. A combination of all three would be my idea of heaven on earth.

10 - Food you loathe that should be banned?
Liver - some things should NOT be eaten

11- Are you a savoury or sweet girl?
I'm very sweet - can't you tell?

12 - Last 3 films you watched?
Up-3D at work
Little Miss Sunshine
Babel (there's 2.5 hours of my life I'll never get back)

13 - Song I can't get out of my head at the moment?
Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep

14 - Favourite programme at the moment?
Emmerdale - it's always Emmerdale

15 - Where you going on your next holiday?
No idea yet. Maybe Scotland...

16 - Favourite Country you have been to?
Canada - I went and travelled around Canada on my own for 3 months - absolutely brilliant. Beautiful country, stunning scenery, fabulous people and bears too!

17 - Favourite Beach holiday?
Never had a beach holiday. Personally I couldn't imagine a holiday more boring than lying on a beach all day.

18 - Favourite Hobby?
Photography. I'm lucky enough to do a fair bit of live music photography, and I have my own website if you're interested (see profile page)

19 - Last thing that made me laugh?
My partner.

20 - Favourite Cocktail/Drink?
Tea with a dash of milk - stirred not shaken!
