Advantages: Great way to spend time with friends

Disadvantages: ... nothing much

At the moment, paintballing is my favourite sport. Not only is it fun to play, it keeps you fit, its fun, and a great way to spend time with your friends.

Basically the aim of the game is to shoot balls of paint at your opponents (from the neck down usually) and eliminate them from the game, whilst obviously trying not to get shot yourself and not shooting your other team mates.

The paint balls are water based and just contain coloured dye so are non toxic.

The last time I played paintballing was at a place in Harrogate, it was for a friends birthday and a great day out. We were split into two teams of 8 and sent off to find a hiding place, (ours was some old bunker in the ground) - Then the game begins. You have to move in and out of the trees in the woods to get to the opposite team and shoot them, once they are shot in the first game they have to go and sit at the side until the game finishes.

I was shot within the first 20 minutes, it didn't hurt that much though! I absolutly loved paintballing, I would recommened you give it a chance, it didnt cost that much and was a really fun day out.

Summary: Great sport
