I have literally just come home from my third experience of paintballing. The one I just went to was Tendring Paintballing Xtreme in Tendring, Essex. It was an early start, having to get there at 8:30 in the morning, and as soon as we got there, they took our names, a number to identify you and give you a pair of overalls. In ...  Read the complete review

Paintballing is my fravourite adrenalin sport / hobby, ive been playing for about 10 years now and still love it! the first thing that most people think about is "does it hurt when you get hit" simple answer is no, its like a little sting and thats it, it leaves a small red mark which wont last long. as a rental player, your chosen ...  Read the complete review

Paintball is defently one of the fastest growing sports, not is it just fun but an adrenline buzz. The first time i played it i was a little nervous, and it defently didn't help the pile of kit you were given to wear which is a little daunting, with a mask to protect your face, a pair of overalls, a battle pack and an armour vest. Once ...  Read the complete review

These days paintballing is the only real execise that i get, I tend go several times each year, about once every two months or so and have tried lots of different sites. The first thing that happens is that all participants will be kitted out in protective gear, this usually includes - overalls to protect your own clothing, Full face mask, which ...  Read the complete review

At the moment, paintballing is my favourite sport. Not only is it fun to play, it keeps you fit, its fun, and a great way to spend time with your friends. Basically the aim of the game is to shoot balls of paint at your opponents (from the neck down usually) and eliminate them from the game, whilst obviously trying not to get shot ...  Read the complete review

Paintball is where players eliminate opponents by hitting them with pellets containing paint fired from a Co2 compressed gun or marker! Rules for playing paintball vary form game to game or site to site. The most common game involves two teams against each other seeking to capture their eachothers flag and return it to their starting ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on Paintball in General

Go Ballistic Paintballing Centre - Northwich, Cheshire

Organised for a group to go to this site - Manager stunk heavily of alcohol, paintballs £7.00 per 100 not £6.00 as advertised on the Go Ballistic site. Located on a farm - no coach access; very poor facilities, food dreadful, disgusting toilets and staff that manhandle your burgers. Staff are very rude - does not provide for a pleasant experience. My advice - stay away from this centre and Go Ballistic, find a company that really cares about its customers.

If you go to this centre you will be disappointed - STAY AWAY!

'There was dull thud, followed almost instantly by a muffled scream. I dared a glance around; Josh was lying flat on his back, clutching his stomach. His gun and ammunition sprawled out beside him. A bead of sweat trickled slowly down the side of my face. Even in the brilliant light of day I couldn't determine where the shots where coming from. ...  Read the complete review

My goggles were misty and all I could see was the faint outline of moving figures. I was breathing heavily which only made my sight worse. I felt the sweat on my forehead and knew that if I didn’t act fast I would be shot. “Griffith!” I heard being yelled and I followed the voice. I felt two strong arms grab my shoulders and my gun was pointed in ...  Read the complete review

The war had dragged on for over ten minutes now; many of your fellow soldiers who had taken up arms with you had passed on to the other side, probably drinking tea in a tent next to the car park. Only recently your brother had been hit in the shoulder by enemy fire, it makes you glad that you are wearing protection, those paint stains take some ...  Read the complete review

It’s funny how the world can change in just a few short months. Case in point. In the spring time of this year I joined many other protesters on the streets of Manchester, voicing our opinions on the upcoming military conflict in the middle east. My paintball virginity has been lost - the lucky lady being Falcon Range, Bramshall, Uttoxeter, part of the National Paintball League. Those who play it consider Paintball an extreme sport. There are many different types of games that can be played in paintball. The first being "pure" elimination, where when you are hit and the ball burst onto you, you are eliminated from the game. If one entire team gets eliminated, then the other team wins. Next you ...  Read the complete review

Children have always had an insane infatuation with war-games, insisting on picking up big sticks and charging around fields arguing over whether or not you were shot, before agreeing that you were shot in the leg a little bit, so you?ll be ok. Possibly the best sport I have ever taken part in. So much fun, as so easy. All it takes is a bit of money and the eagerness to roll around in mud in the woods and fire bullets of paint at your mates. Cracking!! There are lots of venues across the country where one can book a paintballing session with trained instructors, and safety ...  Read the complete review
