British tennis is in its worst ever state. They have been relegated from the sixteen best countries in the world after their humiliating defeat at the hands of Ecuador. The truth is that there are not even any top class youngsters who look like they could come through and support Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski. So the situation does not look like it is going to improve very soon. Henman is our only real top class player at the moment as Rusedski is going through some awful form. Changes must be made at grass roots level.
