After Jacques Villenueve Won the drivers title in 1987, things were looking particularly rosy for a new outfit about to enter Formula 1. That outfit was called British American Racing or BAR for short. The reason for this was that they had 3 good things on their side. Firstly, they had been developing a car for some time before preparing to take to the grid for the first time in 1988.
