Sorry but got to let rip - I DETESTE any thing football related as does my partner.
Recently after arsenal lost their game, (hahahahahahahaha) whilst traveling home trough Central London there were hordes of grown men actually crying because their team lost - how very very very sad.
Not only did we have to put up with looking at all these idiots but the trains become completely overcrowded and any one going about their usual business and trying to get home walks into a living hell!
The yob culture associated with football is terrible. The drinking and fighting over a game is totally unacceptable. After any Chelsea game a number of our police are always injured because they are forced to deal with football hooligans. Where’s the sportsman’s ship in that??
How much police time is wasted a year dealing with football yobs - far too much!
The way our fans behave whilst overseas disgusts me and makes me ashamed to be British. All this for a game!
It’s bad enough that the crowds fight but when the players start punching each other it makes me wants to scream. Do they have no idea about the bad example they are setting to the kids??
Also the constant spitting makes me want to throw up!
Since when is David Beckham (as nice as he is to look at) more valuable than a top surgeon, as he is certainly paid more! Ridiculous.
How can you get so excited over a group of grown men chasing a sack of air!
When football is on I have to avoid the local shopping centre to avoid being caught up in bar brawls, it’s that bad! People actually feel intimidated when matches are on and stay at home!
I have to listen to my colleagues going on about 'did you see the game at the weekend' and all I want to shout is shut up and do what your paid to do which is work! However since I have been promoted football chat is minimal - thankfully!
The only positive thing is that when England are playing the roads are clear which is a ideal opportunity to take the motorbikes out for a good old thrashing and the horses for a fantastic gallop down the bridle tracks.
Summary: Football - Complete Waste of Time!
