A London Loss? (Football in General)
Advantages: Lots of revenue for a small club Disadvantages: The loss of two potential England internationals
Theres no doubt that the sales of Simon Davies and Matthew Etherington to Tottenham Hotspur brought in much needed revenue at Peterborough United as they re-couped over £1 million but did the money over-rule the decision to be made by Barry Fry? What I mean is, for a club like Peterborough, £1 million is a hell of a lot of money and could keep the club going for at least another two years but with top quality youngsters like Simon and Matthew, should Peterborough have waited a few seasons and then sold them on for much more?
