Advantages: Good youth training schemes

Disadvantages: Not much money input

Sorry I know that not many people want to hear this but I love Wimbledon. I am upset by the fact we are now in Division one. But happy that we seem to be on a winning streak. Even though half of our players were sold off at the end of last season.

I hope they do well and get back up to the premiership. I hear you all yelling well of course you would you support them. But it is not just for that reason.

Wimbledon Football club do alot for the community here. They go to the local schools and do football training sessions with the children there. They have clubs for children to join and alot of the players in the first team have come up from the youngsters training squads and not bought in at high prices from abroad. We need England to start bringing football back into our lives and not just import talent from other countries and forget about investing in our own.

If Wimbledon don't go anywhere this season I am afraid that as a poor club they simply will disapear and so will the oportunities they provide. So even if you don't support them as a team support the good things they are doing and cheer them on.
