Advantages: Good fun watching mens legs
Disadvantages: it can get boring.
I had never been to a proper football match until my ex boyfriend took me to a game 3 years ago. It was not a glamourous occasion either. It was a game in the lower leagues. It was not the type of ground where you would expect to see Manchester United stars playing at either. It was just a normal Saturday game between 2 division 2 teams I think. I can remember the colours too. His team, are called Wrexham. They wear Red. The other team wore Blue and White stripes. I cant remember the name. It was quite a famous occasion for him because I remember a famous player from the past was playing that day. Ian Rush. He was looking old for a footballer. I recognised his name and even his face from the TV. What i was most shocked about , being my first proper game, was the enjoyment I had. Maybe enjoyment is the wrong word. But it was definitely exciting. you really sense the difference to watching it on TV. Being in a ground full of passionate fans draws you into the game and you get involved too. My brother is an avid Liverpool fan so I have seen in on TV many times. I even found myself cheering along. Some of the younger players had nice legs too so that was a bonus. Some of the rules are confusing anf my boyfriends explanation was even more confusing but I still enjoyed it. I would really recommend visiting a live game if you have not been. Prepare for some harther unhygienic toilets and some bad food girls but it really is not all that bad.
