Disadvantages: Influx of foreigners and ponses like Beckham and the Neville Bro's

I like many other resent the fact that fans of larger teams take the p**s out of me all because i support my local side (Port Vale). If it wasn't for people like me and my family local clubs wouldn't stand a chance. I am apalled by players like Roy Keane and Beckham saying they can't play for less than a million a year when local players like Liam Burns only get around £800 a week.
Sir Stanley Matthews the late great true professional of football never got wages above £20. He never moaned, never winged, he played the game because he loved it and not just for the money. What i want to know is when will players like him return to our great game and make us a proud footballing nation once again!!!
When i ask lads and even girls now what they want to do and most say footballers, we all say we want to do it for the joy of it but be honest how many of us really want to do it for the money. Isn't it time we put the beautiful back in the "beautiful game!"
Ps. Be proud to be a local fan don't give in to the peer presure.
One saying that i will never forget from the great Sir George Best "David Beckham can't pass, can't tackle, doesn't score many goals, can't head the ball, hasn't got a left foot but apart from all that important footballing stuff he's a good player.
