Advantages: atmosphere, terraces, cheaper, more fun, no glory hunter...shall I go on?!!

Disadvantages: lesser standard

As a Northampton Town fan I am naturally more intersted in the basement divisions than the Premiership.

Although the only place where you are likely to find "real" football fans today is in the lower divisions where the moeny simply isn't available, and there are no glory supporters.

I think there should be much more of an interest in the lower divisions in this country. OK, the football is of a lwer standard, but the atmosphere is so much better and its so much better to know that you are supporting your local team adn not just following the team that your mates like or a popular team.

Many people I know laugh when I tell them I support The Cobblers, but when I ask them when they last went to watch Manchester United or Liverpool or Arseanl thet respond with a nervous "ummm....".

I missed 1 game in total last season. We won promotion from Division Three and it felt so good. This message is just a reminder to the Prems big boys that we are still here and you can't get rid of us that easily!!
