May sound controversial but it is true! The guy is so over - hyped it is so unbelieveable. The reason he was made so big was because of that goal against Greece which meant England qualified for the world cup. Other than that he is not as good a player as everyone makes out.

He wins all the medals at Manchester United because he is surrounded by pure class. Giggs and Keane are the main reasons that the Manchester United midfield are awesome. Giggs has the pace that terrifies even the best defences in Europe, and Keane is absolutely awesome in controlling midfield. All Beckham does is have a stupid haircut and demands 100,000 pound a week! Ok his crossing ability is awesome but he is not as indespensible as everyone makes out.

Classic example - the world cup. Why did England not win it? Answer they were lacking class in midfield. They needed Steven Gerrard who is in the same class as Keane. Also why was there such a big deal made about Beckham's metatarsal? England seemed more bothered about that than the fact Gerrard was not going. And another thing about the world cup. What did Beckham do there? All he did was score 1 mere penalty which as far as i am concerned is not enough for a player who is meant to be one of the best players in the world.

And another thing (sorry to keep going on but i really do not rate him much) when was the last time you saw this guy head the ball? Or when did he last do a good tackle? Answer to that is cannot remember because he rarely does any work for the team. Sure he tracks back but it is usually down to Gary Neville to get the ball of the opponents.
Therefore I can safely say he is not as good as everyone makes him out to be
