Written off by the pundits, before the season has started, Ipswich Town will be the shock team of the season. You may knock this as a true supporter and life followers opinion of his favourite club, but... This is a side that is playing football as good as the greatest team of the late 70's, early 80's.

It will be recognised soon that this small club, moving forward by churning out quality youth, will be able to make waves amoung the big guns. The result this week against Man Utd proves this. Young International call ups are happening here, and to most, these are nobodys. But watch for the Richard Wrights, Fabien Wilnis', David Johnsons and Jamie Scowcrofts, and that's just for England...

Ipswich play an excellent technical game, which prevented Man Utd from taking control and the result ending in a square 1-1. How many teams can claim this feat? Although a poor result from the first game of the season, the side played with confidence and weren't afraid to go forward.

It is still early days and are still finding their feet, but watch this space, The Boys are Back in Town.
