Advantages: decide for yourself

Disadvantages: none

*****1. How long, on average, does it take you to get rid of someone trying to sell you something over the phone?

Firstly, it depends what it is. If it is something I show an interest in, then I would at least let them explain exactly what it is they are trying to sell. If I didn't have an interest in the product/service, or if it was clearly a cold call from a company offering an uninspiring product or offering a product/service that seems like a con it would take me no time at all. In fact I would have great pleasure in telling them to stuff it.

******2. What is the most expensive object you have ever broken on purpose? ('when angry' counts as 'on purpose' even if you regretted it soon afterwards)

Crikey! Well I did kick a hole in a door once as a child. But then I guess it was my fathers fault for buying crappy doors that wouldn't even withold the strength of a child's kick. In more recent times I had a breakdown a couple of years ago and couldn't bear the sight of myself in the mirror. Needless to say I put my fist through it. Obviously I regretted it afterwards as I spent a number of hours waiting in the local Accident and Emergency department waiting for someone to look at my bleeding hand..... fortunately I didn't do any long term damage. I guess the mirror cost only around a fiver!

******3. If you buy something for 99p with a £1 coin, do you really want the 1p back?

I most certainly do want the 1p back. All my small change goes in a little wicker basket and I am not joking, it soon adds up. I have just counted how much I have in there in 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p and 20p and I currently have £47.91. When you consider that a lot of people (especially younger people) throw their small change down the nearest drain or in the nearest litter bin I think that is quite an achievement. It gives me great satisfaction when I can take it all down the bank and buy myself something nice with it. Of course, there is the small matter of banks not accepting vast amounts of change...............

******4. What was the last thing you shouted while in a car?

"Would you PLEASE slow down. Slow down for christ's sake!" I was being given a lift home from work by my manager, but before I jumped in the car, and willingly accepted a lift, little did I know he was going to drive like a goddamn maniac. To be honest, it scared the hell out of me. Needless to say, that is the last time I will be accepting a lift from him. I value my life (just about!)

******5. What is your typical path through a supermarket?

Don't get me started on supermarkets! I most commonly shop in Tesco but also shop in Sainsbury's and the Co-Op, both of which are local to me. I guess my path through the supermarket generally changes depending on which supermarket I am shopping in. Largely due to the diversity of the products they sell and the reasons that I shop in them. I do my main shop in Tescco once a week (on a Sunday). My path through my local Tesco would be as follows (this would vary depending on the Tesco store in question): Magazines (I rarely buy magazines, but if I do they are monthly computing magazines and my "Collosus" once a month), Stationary (Rarely do I buy stationary other than the odd pack of pens or the odd ream of paper for my printer), Shampoo and Cosmetics (I suppose I only stop off at this department around once a month), Toothpaste, toothbrushes and mouthwash (I buy a tube of toothpaste around once a month, a toothbrush around once overy three months and mouthwash once a week), Tinned food (My favourite section if I have to be honest! This is one section that I spend most of my shopping time in. I can quite honestly stand there for half an hour debating which soups/vegetables/potatoes/meats that I am going to buy tinned this week. I guess the main reasons that I find this department to be a necessity is that tinned food is ALWAYS good value), Pasta and sauce aisle (Pasta is one of those products that tends to last some time so I dont spend a lot of time in this department, probably I buy pasta, and sauces, around once every month), Crisps, nuts, and snacks (I positively avoid this aisle. Although I do eat these things from time to time it is very rare. I do care about my heart you know!), Cereals (To be honest, I have just boosted my healthy living regime and so have started buying a six pack of muesli breakfasts (this allows me to scoff a bacon sarnie on saturday mornings!) hence, as I know exactly what I want each week I rarely spend any amount of time browsing the shelves in this aisle.), Alcohol and soft drinks (pfft, alcohol, the bain of my life. Having drunk far to heavily in the past I have taken it upon myself to refrain (permanently I hope) from such evils. Therefore I do not tempt myself and avoid this aisle completely. If I want soft drinks I will buy them separately from the corner shop.) Fruit and Vegetables (As I mentioned earlier, I am currently doing my best to partake in a healthy lifestyle, therefore my consumption of fruit and vegetables has increased dramatically. So I do tend to spend a lot of time in this aisle), Ready Meals (Once upon a time I used to be a regular amongst the ready meal aisles, I am thankful to say that I rarely frequent them now and only buy a ready meal if it is absolutely necessary. Although I live alone, I really belive that good old fashioned home cooking is the way forward.) Dairy (With the variety of cheeses, milk and yoghurts in offer these days it is little surprise that I spend rather too much time in this aisle trying to decide what I want. I suppose in general I try and come away with the healthiest options, although I am still addiceted to Brie and salad sandwiches....), Fresh Meat (Ah.. another of my favourite department. Although trying to eat healthily I am a sucker for fresh meat and generally what I buy is not always healthy, although having said that I rarely buy burgers or sausages, although I am partial to a liver and bacon casserole), Frozen (As I live in a shared house, I only have one freezer drawer, so the frozen goods that I buy are limited. Generally I will buy frozen vegetables or fresh meat which I will then freeze). With regards to the Co-Op and Sainsbury's I generally only visit when I need something in an emergency so my path through these is straight to what I need.

******6. Do you lick the underside of the foil top when eating a pot of yoghurt?

Of course I do, who doesn't? I consider that to be one of my more childish sides!

******7. How many greetings cards have you sent in the last 12 months?

You expect me to remember back 12 months? Ok, I will do my best. My sister's, father's and brother's birthday in January, Valentines day in February (I can always be hopeful), Nothing in March, My Mum's birthday in April, nothing in May, June, July or August, My own birthday is in September and I always send myself a card (just to make absolutely sure I get one), nothing in October or November. December is Christmas plus my sister's birthday. And that doesnt even include mother's day or father's day, so I guess in all I send around 50 per year (including christmas).

******8. A criminal maniac invites you to "Pick a city for destruction, Mr. Bond." Which one do you choose?

Thats a very weird question you know. To be honest, I really don't think I could "destroy" anything, even if I had to. I care about all the things and places on this planet so I would really struggle to find any dort of incentive to destroy a city. When you think about it, by destroying a city, I would also be destroying all the life and animals that live within it, and I really couldn't live with that on my conscience!

******9. Which font do you use most often?

Arial 10pt. It depends what I am doing but I generally prefer arial 10pt, it is very adaptable to most purposes!

******10. If you had the choice between a petrol chainsaw and a bread knife, which would you use for felling a small tree with a 1" diameter trunk?

Hmmm, 1". Well, 1 inch is not very much, obviously given the choice I would opt for the chainsaw because it would be much quicker, but if I was forced to use a breadknife I am sure it wouldn't take any long.

******11. On a scale of 1 to 10, how confident are you that you know when to use a semicolon?

Hrummph. What is a semi-colon;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I suppose I would have to say around a 5? ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; Or maybve I should say around a 2;;;;;;; honestly though..................... 8/10

******12. What proportion of the CDs you own are in their original cases right now?

At this specific moment in time they are 100% in all their proper cases. That said, you have to make some allowances for the fact that I have just tidied up. In general (as an average) I would say that around 50% are in their correct cases at any point in time.

******13. Favorite color: black or white?

Black! That's an easy question! i don't know why but I have always liked black, most of my clothes are black and if I thought I could get away with it I would paint my walls and ceiling black. I just don't want a black eye.

******14. How accurate is the time on your watch?

My watch broke around 4 years ago and I never bothered getting a new one. In fact, with the advent of professional mobile phones to be honest, I don't need a watch anymore.

******15. What you wearing right now?

Can I come back and answer that one in about 10 mins? I've not long been out of the shower so currently I am sitting here in my birthday suit. Gimme five minutes and I will be wearing my pyjamas!

******16. Have you ever written to anyone famous, emailed or telephoned a newspaper, radio station, TV programme etc? If so, what did you say?

To be honest............... no, whats the point!

******17. Do you, in the most fundamental depths of your soul, give a crap about the extinction of the Red Cockaded Woodpecker?

Yes I do! I feel very strongly about the extinction of any animal or plant on our planet and I firmly believe that we, as humans, have the power to reverse trends like these and ensure that our future generations can continue to enjoy the wonders that we see today.

******18. What is the cheapest thing you've bought with a debit or credit card in the past month?

Ah, now that is quite embarrassing..... 1p. No seriously! Our PDQ system went wrong at work recently, and I checked the system by charging 1p to my credit card.... thankfully it went through!

*****19. Favorite books?

All the Harry Potter Books. End of story. JK Rowling is without doubt the most talented woman in the world. Long may she reign!

******20. What is your most favorite meal?

A few!

Depends how you mean however...

If it is something I have cooked myself then you cannot beat a liver and bacon casserole, if you don't believe me then feel free to come round for one.

If you are talking about my most favourite meal whilst eating out then it would have to be the rainforest cafe in picaddilly. The most magical experience if ever there was one!
