I like the idea that there is a category to write whatever you want.

Not sure if I will upset some people but I find it amazing that after all of the recent floods that hve been there are still people who do not have their contents insured, these same people can be seen blaming other pople and expecting handouts from the state which means that anyone is a tax payer will have to fork out because they never bothered to take out contents insurance.

Providing housing for those most in need in society is one thing but to then expect the tax payer to replace items like TV's and DVD players is a bit steep as these things are luxuries and not necessities.

On the TV there have been some wonderful examples of community spirit and with people pulling together to help each other and even though talking to a friend the other day who is in the police he has a slightly different view having been pelted with roof slates whle trying to help someone, overall the response has been pretty amazing. You can bet pretty soon there will be people expecting handouts to replace items they did not insure, given that basic contents insurance is not hat expensive it should be seen as a necessity and not something to ignore.
