Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Waste of money, very dissapointing.
About a year ago a friend of mine tried a weight gaining process to try and put on some weight. It's called Weight Gain and you can buy it from Holland & Barratt. A normal tub of it costs about £12.99 and the smaller tub costs about £7.99. It comes in three flavours: Strawberry, Banana and Chocolate. Being as I'm small built myself I thought I'd try it aswell. We both weigh around 7 1/2 stone and both are sizes 8-10. You take it two or three times a day, measure a certain amount and mix it with whole milk, shake it well and drink. Although the taste, I think, is not that nice, we had it two or three times a day for as long as the tub lasted us, which if I can remember rightly it was around 1 month or so. Did we put on weight? Not at all!!! We may have put on a pound here and there, but it would go almost straight away, so to me and my friend, it was a whole waste of time effort and money. If anyone decides to put on any weight, they're better off eating chocolate 24/7. I've actually put on 1/2 a stone and a size in the last 4 months, don't ask me how, but it's got absolutely nothing to do with the so-called "Weight Gain".!!! DON'T GO THERE!!!

- 02/08/00 It sounds the same as Slimfast...to lose weight, unless it's meant for people who are ill and can't eat solids. If you want to put on weight.....I can tell you how. LOL... |
