Steven Gerrard, born 30th May 1980. Arguably the best midfielder in the English Barclay's Premier League. Arguably one of the best midfielders in the world. Arguably one of the best footballers of our time. THE best, according to the legendary Pele. Steven Gerrard, captain of Liverpool football club and England star, has the hearts of many. After recently reading Steven Gerrard's autobiography, I came to realise the passion and adoration the man has for his football club and his country. Gerrard has been a star in his club's Champion's League campaign over recent years, most memorably scoring the first of his team's 3 goals in the Champion's League Final of 2005 to come back against AC Milan. The year after, 2006, Gerrard won PFA Player of the Year and lead his club to victory in the FA Cup. It is reported that Gerrard has left a space in his trophy room for the Premier League trophy, which his club almost clinched last year.
