So then, a "review" if you will, on my team - Gloucester Rugby Club. No doubt more of you out there are football fans rather than rugby union...each to their own I guess, but being from the west country, only this sport really dominates. (and partly because the likes of Swindon Town, Cheltenham Town and the two Bristol teams are useless...granted Swindon are second in League 2, but then it again, it's League 2!!) OK i got 2 words for ya, Henry PAUL. Could this be the biggest signing of the year, i think so. Following the sucess of Jason Robinsons change of codes there is a high expectation for Henry to suceed and i believ he will. However Paul with his outstanding ability to control a game is not the only signing Phillipe St Andre has made this summer. With around 10 new singings and 8 players promoted from the academy ranks the Kingsholm squad has been given a revamp and has some very promising names within its ranks. It's a shame that Kingsley Jones will no longer captain the side next season. But, in his All Black namesake, we have a more than capable replacement. A giant in all aspects of the word, Ian was magnificent last season and was a shot in the eye for those cynics who said he had come here for an extended holiday. A feature of Kingsley's term as Captain was his warm relationship with us fans. I hope Ian continues with Kingsley's practice of waving to the crowd before and after the match. It's a relatively small gesture but it is greatly appreciated to know that the team do think about us supporters. I hope Kingsley stays injury free, and that ...
