Shall we or shall we not?? This is the question on most peoples lips and no doubt the church has many more issues to raise.

I know that when I was born my parents didn't have any choice as to if I was a boy or a girl. I now have children and although I didn' know what they were going to be I am still very proud of them bith no matter what they look like or what they do.

I am all for progress, and cures for all these illnesses that are thrown at us, but when it comes to being able to determine how somone or something is going to be I think that is playing agains nature. If you think about it over the many years that we have been on this earth we have had lots of things thrown against us and we have survived. In the case where a new born child was created to save another there is mixed views and feelings. If one life can save another then it is good, but to create a life for this reason then I am not so sure. I am not saying that that child will not be loved but it goes agains everything natural about getting pregnant, and the feeling of holding that baby for the first time and growing up with not knowing how things will be.

Everybody should be entitled to lead a life how they want to lead it and choose a lifestyle and apperance they want to. I just feel that this little child has already had part of that taken away as the child already has a purpose in life and that was to help save another. As I have said I do not wish to cast any darkness on the fact that what has happened has given someone a better chance in life as we all deserve that but it frightens me to think that people can choose haw the future generation is going to be and I really think that most things bad in this world are man made, you only have to look at the bomb and weapons to see that.

I will keep an open mind about this but it till won't stop me being frightened about the future and who will be in it.
