This may be a bit late now but I still think it is of interest to people. I decided to give my account of the launch parties held by Formula 1 teams this year. Every year, the Formula 1 teams try to go one bigger and one better than their rivals and certainly better than the year before. This is not restricted to their track performance. Living here in England the Japanese Grand Prix was se to go off at 6.30 in the morning so I set my alarm and dualy got up for the Grand Prix expecting to see a fascinating battle between Schumacher and Hakkinen for the title and a good battles all the way down the field due to overtaking being possible on this circuit. How dissapointed I was,I ended up praying for the rain to fall harder so I could actually see some action rather than fall asleep which I was. Yes in some ways there was a battle between Hakkinen and Schumacher but it never really got close,neither tryed to overtake the other they just se-sawed the gap between each other but they never really ...

The 2000 German Grand Prix from Hockenheim must be the most action packed race I have seen for many years. At the start David Coulthard made a poor start from pole position and moved across the track to block Michael Schumacher and this let Mika Hakkinen storm through to lead by the first corner. As Schumacher moved over to try to get around Coulthard he squeezed out Fisichella and the resulting crash knocked both drivers out of the race at the first corner. It was a racing accident with both drivers at fault, although I feel Fisichella should have been able to see it coming as he was behind the German and could have taken avoiding action, such as ...
