Advantages: The Stadium...

Disadvantages: The Manager...

I'm not a massive long - life supporter of Grimsby Town, because if you've read any of my other opinions you'll know I love Manchester United. However, living across the Humber from Britain's biggest Industrial Town, and Grimsby obviously being the best team in the Yorkshire/Lincolshire area, I sometimes spare a Saturday to see them play.

Grimsby Town aren't the best of teams; I'll admit to that. However, I feel they deserve to be where they are, in the first division. The supporters have high hopes of seeing the Mariners in the Premiership, but they have to be realistic, Grimsby won't make it, unless they suddenly get better.
As they are slowley slipping down the table, I think they really should fight to get higher up, as relagation would be devestating.

I find, that Grimsby's main problem is that they are too lazy. I do not think they play to the best of their abilty all the time, on the whole, I think they work hard for about 20 minutes, getting the fans hopes up, and then they slack, which is when they mostly concede goals.

Grimsby have lost Alan Buckley as a manager, who I feel was reasonably good. They are now selling decent players, who I think they should keep.

I think that Grimsby's best player is easily captain Paul Groves, he is a strong central midfielder and I think he leads well.

Blundell Park is a very good stadium, despite the cold. Being on the River Humber, the Northern air blows into the crowd. I will be very sad to see it go. I would also like to point out that the atmosphere is great.

So, that is my opinion on Grimsby Town FC, hope you liked it...
