Advantages: Big, Huge, Massive
Disadvantages: injured, Heel (business terms for bad, evil etc)
HHH, Huge Humongous Honker (as Jericho would say), or Hunter Hearst Helmsley, is one of the very top performers in the entire wrestling (professional that is, not ammature) business. Currently out for around eight months with torn quadriceps he is one of the most entertaining men in the business. He also has many things going for him in the WWF, being married to the bosses daughter, being considered to be the bosses only true son, and alliance with one of the most dangerous men in the business (Stone Cold Steve Austin), and a totally massive body. HHH made his real impact in the WWF as the leader of the great D-X, this consisted of X-Pac, Chyna, Bad Ass Billy Gunn and Road Dogg. That was back a couple of years ago, D-X have now gone their separate ways and who has become the most successful out of them all? HHH. Now married to the bosses daughter, Stephanie Mcmahon-Helmsley (jammy geezer), he really has, despite his already huge experience, all the potential to continue to strive toward being the best. Not that I?m saying that he isn?t already the best, but with stiff competition for the top slot from the likes of The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Kane, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho (wow, when you write them down there really are a lot of great WWF Superstars) he still needs to push himself a little more to stand out as the champions of champions, the WWF title also wouldn?t help. His alliance with Stone Cold and Mr. McMahon has led HHH into a pretty secure predicament, only recently losing his intercontinental title to Kane, and lets face it, there is NO shame in losing to Kane, the mans a shade under 7ft and can take everything thrown at him. This relationship formed in a rather strange way, you remember when Stone Cold got run over, well in case you didn?t know HHH orchestrated the whole thing. This set off a viscous rivalry between the two, with beating after beating, interference after interference, and match aft
er match these two formed one of the best and most entertaining rivalries the WWF has ever witnessed. Then the rivalry climaxed at Wrestlemania, but I?ll get onto that in a minute. At the Royal Rumble, HHH was in a match, in which Stone Cold interfered costing HHH the match. Later that night HHH was to get his revenge, or attempted revenge anyway, on his way down to join the Royal Rumble, Stone Cold was attacked by HHH, and to the fans delight, HHH got whooped, but not before causing Stone Cold to bleed like a river. Stone Cold went on to win the Royal Rumble, booking himself a place in the main event at Wrestlemania, match with the peoples champion, The Rock, for the WWF title. That night, there was a rumour going about that Stone Cold joined forces with Mr McMahon, HHH of course didn?t take kindly to this and was a bit upset (and I?d like to mention how good the story writers in the WWF are), and of course, this couldn?t be as everyone loves Stone Cold, and hates Vince McMahon. SO in the main event, a cage match, Stone Cold was getting whooped, and Mr McMahon came on down to the ring, it turns out that Stone Cold did defect to the dark side. Vince and Austin began to beat The Rock, and then HHH came down to ring, fuming may I add. All the fans are cheering, they think that he is going to save their champion, wrong, he faces up to Austin as The Rock gets to his feet, and instead of hitting Austin, he began laying into The Rock. So this is how the unholy alliance began. Austin and Helmsley worked their way through the WWF superstars, the two man power trip captured the three most wanted belts in the WWF, Austin won the WWF title against The Rock, HHH got the Intercontinental Title, and they got the Tag Team Titles to make it three for three. Then in a title defence against Benoit and Jericho, whilst going to break up a three count he tore his quadriceps. Not only that, he managed to continue the match for about five minutes, I don?t know how or why he cont
inued, but it does command a great deal of respect. This leads us to now, currently out injured, he really is a true professional who is very, very good. Perhaps that if he was a fans favourite he would be considered as the best, but lets face it, he won?t be considered the best until he is fan friendly.
